Hostalric, the setting for a new Netflix series

In recent days, the Castle has hosted the recording of different scenes from "Los herederos de la Tierra", a production based on the famous novels by Ildefonso Falcones.

Hostalric's heritage spaces continue to be one of the reference locations throughout our country for large, medium and small audiovisual productions that want to make use of the unique charm, history and mysticism that the local heritage has to set and give added value to their artistic creations.

Hostalric's castle was, at the end of December 2020, the location chosen for the recording of different scenes of "Los herederos de la Tierra", an original Netflix series directed by Jordi Frades and that once released exclusively on this platform. Two intense days of recording and after a week of preparations and decoration of spaces such as the bomb-proof gallery, the Cavalier, the dining rooms and the tavern. The shooting has brought a team of more than 200 people to the town and the producer Diagonal TV has expressed its gratitude for the facilities and the reception received by the City Council and for the characteristics of the space.
