Domus Can Llensa

The Domus Can Llensa, , tourist and cultural promotion center of Hostalric is located in Can Llensa. It is the headquarters of the Tourist Information Office, part of the Network of Tourism Offices of Catalonia promoted by the Directorate General of Tourism of Catalonia.

The building was originally built in 1898 by the entrepreneur Alfons Llensa i Plademunt as a cork factory. The current equipment was designed by MSB Estudi Taller de Arquitectura (2010) and was carried out by local companies and professionals. Since then, it has established itself as a multipurpose space focused on the tourist promotion of the municipality and the diffusion of the local cultural and gastronomic heritage.

Building

The building has three floors. The Ground Floor is the visitor greeting point, located in a multipurpose space for activities adapted to accommodate different cultural proposals (exhibitions, tastings, ...). The glass present on this floor allows you to enjoy the excellent views of the town (the square, the medieval town of Hostalric and the castle).

On the ground floor there is a multipurpose room for municipal entities and associations.

The eating area is on the First Floor, which opens out onto a terrace with views of the Montnegre mountain range and the fortress. This is an ideal space for gastronomical experiences or renting out
