How to get there
Hostalric is located in a privileged and very well-communicated area. The town is situated next to the Tordera river and is one of the entry points to the Montseny Natural Park and the Montnegre-Corredor Park. Girona and Barcelona are 40 and 60 km away respectively, and the main touristic nuclei of the Costa Brava are a 30-minute drive away. Girona Costa Brava airport is 30 km away.
You can reach Hostalric by road via the A7 motorway, taking exit 10 towards Hostalric, or the C-35 road (from Granollers to Girona). The Eix Transversal road is around 20 km away from the town (exit towards Arbúcies and link with GI-552 towards Hostalric) and the N-II is approximately 15 minutes away (GI-555 towards Caldes de Malavella).
If you prefer to take public transport, the train line Barcelona-Portbou stops in Hostalric (lines R2 north and R11). Consult Schedule.
