The Domus Sent Soví Gastronomical Centre is dedicated to the promotion and awareness of Catalan Gastronomical heritage via its best products. It is a modern space offering cookery workshops, tasting sessions and other activities linked to the promotion of Catalan gastronomy. It also boasts an exhibition area with 3 domes and audiovisual equipment, allowing guests to learn about and appreciate Catalan gastronomy, dating from the origins of the book “Sent Soví” to the present day. You will also have the chance to learn first-hand about the many local products made by small producers from Hostalric, Girona Excel·lent and all of Catalonia.
You can also appreciate this diversity of local products in Hostalric’s shops and restaurants. The village is famous for its cold meats and hand-crafted sweets. In the butcher's shops, you will find traditionally-made cold meats following family traditions that go back years, and in the patisseries and bakeries you will find traditional hand-crafted sweets and desserts. Some of these products carry the quality seal “Hostalric, producte Ric” awarded to products that are made in the village and represent it.
In terms of food, despite being a small village we are fortunate to be able to offer varied, unique options, from the most traditional dishes to creative gastronomy, showcasing our specialisation in seafood and quality fast food.
