Military camp at Hostalric's Castle

The weekend of February 3 and 4 Hostalric's castle will host the winter military camp of the 79th Cameron Highlander!

During the Peninsular War, the British troops on their way to Madrid will make their winter camp in the fortress of Hostalric where they will take advantage of their stay to stock up on food and gunpowder. If you go to the fortress you can see them doing instruction and military life.

Camp life, instruction, cooking... the day-to-day life of a nineteenth-century camp. The opening hours are Saturday, February 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
