New oppening times Hostalric castle

From 1st March to 31th May the opening hours of the Castle are Saturdays from 10am to 2pm and from 3pm to 6pm and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. The last access allowed is 30 minutes before the closing time. The recommended visit time is 60 minutes.

You can visit the castle on your own, without a guide, and allow yourself to be captivated by the ingenuity of its architecture and the beauty of its surroundings. If you prefer to learn about the history of the sites that you are visiting in more detail, don’t miss the guided tours that take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon. Our local guides will teach you about the most relevant historical facts of this monument, and you will observe the different elements that make up its structure, learn about what its functions are and understand the transformation that the old medieval castle underwent to adapt itself to new defence strategies.
