In ancient times, Sant Miquel Festival was one of the most crowded festivals in the county of Selva. Farmers and cattle breeders would converge on the Plaça dels Bous and hundreds of people filled the town’s streets.
As a result of the Spanish Civil War the festival stopped being held and entered a period of decline. In 1990, the fair regained its renown and tradition, and since then, this event has become one of the most popular celebrations in the town, transforming into the Festes de Sant Miquel and extending to a 4-day celebration.
These take place on the last weekend of September, and during them, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy various cultural and leisure activities, as well as a craft market.
