Procedures for filming \u00b7 Municipal authorizations<\/h3>

All production companies interested in filming in Hostalric require authorization. To obtain authorization, production companies must fill out an application form and return it to Hostalric\u2019s Town Council.

\nUpon receipt of the application form, Hostalric Tourism Office will submit it to the municipal authorities to consider its viability and carry out the necessary legal procedures for obtaining authorization. Hostalric Tourism Office will monitor and coordinate the project in order to guarantee the completion of the process by the different municipal departments involved.\n

\nFilming fees. The costs of filming in the town are based on the taxes established in municipal bylaws.

Listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest (1963), the town of Hostalric is one of the major monumental sites of medieval Catalonia and is presided over by an imposing 18th century military fortress. Both location are part of the Catalunya Film Comissionand the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau.
