Lake Sils

Lake Sils is a natural protected area in the municipality of Sils, included in the Areas of Natural Interest Plan (PEIN) of Catalonia. There are several walking and biking routes available at Lake Sils on which you can explore the special ecosystems of the lake and its flora and fauna.

You’ll find more information at the Lake Sils Information Centre (at the railway station). It can be visited on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10.00 to 14.00. The area is home to myriad wildlife species thanks to the wide variety of habitats concentrated there. Without a doubt, birds are the most visible animals you are likely to encounter.
