Museu Josep Aragay

The museum is housed in the original parish church of Santa Maria de Breda, dating from the 12th century, of which the Romanesque apse and transept remain. The museum houses the work of the Catalan artist Josep Aragay (1889-1973), a theorist of the noucentisme Catalan artistic movement.

This impressive collection comprises paintings, ceramics, drawings and etchings. There are 100 drawings, cards, sketches and notebooks devoted to contemporary creation, religious painting, mythology, the teaching of fine arts and traditional festivals.
