Plans for summer? Visit the Hostalric castle!
From 1st June to 29th September, Hostalric castle openning times are from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm (last entry 30 minutes before closing time).
Located on a privileged location, Hostalric castle gives you different options to allow visitors enjoy themselves and learn about its history. From the Interpretation Centre, you can go on a journey through time to learn about the functions and transformations of the old medieval castle of the Viscounts of Cabrera.
You can visit the castle on your own, without a guide, and allow yourself to be captivated by the ingenuity of its architecture and the beauty of its surroundings. If you prefer to learn about the history of the sites that you are visiting in more detail, don’t miss the guided tours that take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon.
Our local guides will teach you about the most relevant historical facts of this monument, and you will observe the different elements that make up its structure, learn about what its functions are and understand the transformation that the old medieval castle underwent to adapt itself to new defence strategies.
